The company was started as a small, local bakery in 1983. It quickly became a small natural foods store and grew into an international food company known worldwide.
Kashi cereal was established in 1984 by Philip and Gayle Tauber. The company’s primary purpose is to produce a nutritionally balanced breakfast, experimenting with various whole grains and seeds. In 2000, Kellogg Company acquired this company and operated in La Jolla, California. In 2013, it was moved to Battle Creek, Michigan, by the Kellogg Company.
In 2005, Kashi finally arrived in Canada —a country whose profoundly ingrained passion for nature, agriculture, kindness, and adventure fit perfectly with everything Kashi stands for.
