Tina Fey kicked off the inaugural Saturday Night Live UK on Saturday night (March 21)!

Tina talked about the sketch show and bringing it across the pond before opening the floor to questions from the audience.
Nicola went first and asked why an American was hosting SNL UK, to which the host responded, “The way it was explained to me was that for this first episode, anyway, how do I put this politely, none of you f-ckers would do it. Does that make sense?”
Michael was next, and Tina asked why he was there, since he’s not British either.
“I’m Canadian, it’s part of the Commonwealth. Educate yourself,” he said, referencing Nicola just a bit before.
He then said he didn’t have a question, but rather noticed she just swore on the show.
“Oh, yeah. We are allowed to swear in this version of the show,” Tina said. Michael then added, “That’s crazy. Can Can I try?”
Finally, Graham joined in and asked if he could show her a “fiddly thing about this place,” as it is usually the studio where his show films. He then took the stage and interview Tina before testing her British TV knowledge!

Saturday Night Live UK airs on Saturday Nights on Sky in the UK, and streaming next day on Peacock in the US.
